The youth entered the SSKM emergency department with the patient. By his attire and after listening the young man nobody thought he was lying. The young man had almost admitted the patient with the introduction of a personal assistant of the Minister of Urban Development Mayor Firhad Hakim, but he did not able to admit that fake assistant. He was arrested by the SSKM police station.
According to police sources, the young man, Mir Mehdi Hasan, went to the emergency department around 9:30 am on Wednesday with one male patient.
He demanded to the emergency department doctors that he had come in to admit the patient on the recommendation of the minister. He also threatened to call the minister if his patient will not get a quick bed.
In the clever words, Mir easily gained the confidence of the doctors.
Police department also informed, the patient admitted in the same way twice before. Once he introduced himself as Assistant to the State Health Minister Chandrima Bhattacharya. On duty Police officers were suspect him as a fake person but before taking any action, they want to make sure about their suspicion.
