গতকাল ভারতীয় জনতা পার্টির তরফ থেকে তিরঙ্গা যাত্রার মাধ্যমে স্বাধীনতা দিবস উদযাপন করা হয়। ৭৪ তম স্বাধীনতা দিবস উপলক্ষে বিজেপি টালিগঞ্জ মন্ডল ১ এবং সংখ্যালঘু মোর্চার তরফ থেকে এদিন এই বর্ণাঢ্য শোভাযাত্রার আয়োজন করা হয়। গাছতলা মোড় থেকে আনোয়ার শাহ ক্রসিং অবধি এই তিরঙ্গা যাত্রার মূল উদ্যোক্তা ছিলেন বিজেপি টালিগঞ্জ মণ্ডল ১ এর সভাপতি সোমা ঘোষ, দক্ষিণ কলকাতা জেলা বিজেপির সহ সভাপতি সৈকত বক্সী, সংখ্যালঘু নেতা শেখ তারিক এবং জেলা যুব মোর্চার সহ সভাপতি রাজীব দত্ত চৌধুরি। এই তিরঙ্গা যাত্রার প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন বিজেপির রাজ্য কমিটির সদস্য এন মোহন রায় এবং দক্ষিণ কলকাতা বিজেপির বরিষ্ঠ নেতা বিশ্বজিৎ দেবনাথ। এ ছাড়াও উপস্থিত ছিলেন কলকাতা পুরসভার ১১২ নম্বর ওয়ার্ডের দাপুটে নেতা রাজেশ ঝা, ১১১ নম্বর ওয়ার্ডের লড়াকু নেতা জয়ন্ত মুখার্জী, মহিলা মোর্চার নেত্রী মুনমুন চট্টোপাধ্যায়, রীতু সিংহ এবং রুবি মন্ডল, জেলার যুব মোর্চার সম্পাদক সুরোজ মন্ডল, অশোক সাউ এবং জেলার লিগাল সেল কনভেনর শুভজিত বল। এই শোভাযাত্রার প্রধান আকর্ষণ ছিল ১০০ ফুট দৈর্ঘের কলকাতা শহরের দীর্ঘতম জাতীয় পতাকা। এই তিরঙ্গা যাত্রাতে স্বতঃস্ফূর্ততার সাথে ভাগ নিয়েছেন টালিগঞ্জ এলাকার প্রায় শতাধিক মানুষ। এই দীর্ঘ পদযাত্রাতে সকলে সামাজিক দূরত্ব বজায় রেখে নতুন ভারত কে আত্মনির্ভর বানানোর অঙ্গীকার নিয়েছে । এর মাঝেই এই যাত্রাতে অংশগ্রহণকারী সমস্ত কর্যকর্তাবৃন্দ বাঙুর হাসপাতালের সামনে সামাজিক দূরত্ব মেনে এবং সরকারের বাকি সমস্ত নিয়মাবলী মেনে করোনা যোদ্ধাদের উদ্দেশ্যে পুষ্পবৃষ্টি করেন এবং করতালির সাথে তাদের সংবর্ধনা জানান। এই তিরঙ্গা যাত্রা আনোয়ার শাহ মোড়ের সামনে শেষ হয় এবং সেখানে এন মোহন রাও বক্তব্য রাখেন তিনি বলেন যে,”ভারতকে আত্মনির্ভর বানানোর জন্য আজ থেকেই আমাদের প্রতিজ্ঞাবদ্ধ হওয়া উচিত, নতুন ভারত গড়া তখনি সম্ভব যখন আমরা সমগ্র দেশে আত্মনির্ভরতার পরিচয় দিতে পারি।”
এরপরে সৈকত বক্সী তার ভাষণের মাধ্যমে বলেছেন, “জাত-পাত, ধর্ম-বর্ণ নির্বিশেষে আমাদের একত্রিত হওয়ার সময় এসেছে, চীনের বিরুদ্ধে যদি চোখের উপর চোখ রেখে ভারত আজ জবাব দিতে পেরেছে তার সবথেকে বড় কারণ প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদীজির দেশব্যাপী গ্রহণযোগ্যতা।” বিজেপির সংখ্যালঘু সম্প্রদায়ের নেতা শেখ তারিক বলেন,”বিগত প্রায় ৭০ বছর ধরে সংখ্যালঘুদের শুধুমাত্র একটি ভোটব্যাংকে পরিণত করে দিয়েছিলো কংগ্রেস সরকার, একমাত্র বিজেপি ধর্মনিরপেক্ষতার পরিচয় দিয়ে গেছে বার বার” এবং তিনি পশ্চিমবঙ্গের আপামর সংখ্যালঘু সম্প্রদায়কে বিজেপির সাথে থাকার আহ্বান জানিয়েছে। এরপর বক্তব্য রাখেন দক্ষিণ কলকাতা বিজেপির বরিষ্ঠ নেতা বিশ্বজিত দেবনাথ, তিনি তার বক্তব্যে বলেন, ” ৭৪ তম স্বাধীনতা দিবসের এক মাত্র সংকল্প হওয়া উচিত অখণ্ড ভারত এবং প্রকৃত ভারতীয় ইতিহাস পুনরুদ্ধার করা, তিনি বলেন পাকিস্তান অধিকৃত কাশ্মীর এবং চীন অধিকৃত ভারত আমাদের ভারতবর্ষের অভিন্ন অঙ্গ “, দেশের গৃহমন্ত্রী অমিত শাহ কে তিনি কাশ্মীর থেকে ধারা ৩৭০ তুলে দেয়ার জন্য ও অভিনন্দন জানিয়েছেন। সর্বশেষে সমগ্র কার্জক্রমটির সমাপ্তি ভাষণে সোমা ঘোষ বলেন, “করোনা মহামারীর এই কঠিন সময়ে বিজেপির প্রতিটি কর্মকর্তা এলাকার মানুষের পাশে আছেন” তিনি এরপর ভারতবর্ষের করোনা রিকভারি রেট ৭০ প্রতিশত অতিক্রম করার জন্য নরেন্দ্র মোদির নেতৃত্বাধীন কেন্দ্রীয় সরকারকে ধন্যবাদ জানান।
the Bharatiya Janata Party celebrated Independence Day with a tri-colour procession. On the occasion of the 74th Independence Day, a colorful procession was organized by BJP Tollygunge Mandal 1 and the District Minority Cell. The main initiators of this tricolor journey from Gachatala junction to Anwar Shah crossing were
BJP Tollygunge Mandal 1 President Soma Ghosh, South Kolkata District BJP Vice-President Saikat Bakshi, Minority Leader Sheikh Tariq and District BJYM Vice-President Rajeev Dutta Chowdhury. BJP state committee member N Mohan Rao and senior BJP leader from South Kolkata Biswajit Debnath were the chief guests of the tri-colour procession. Also present were Rajesh Jha, leader of Ward 112 of Kolkata Municipality, Jayanta Mukherjee, senior leader of Ward 111, Munmun Chattopadhyay, Ritu Singh and Ruby Mandal, leaders of Mahila Morcha, Suroj Mandal, District Youth Morcha Secretary, youth leader from Kasba Ashok Sau and District Legal Cell Convener Shuvojit Bal. The main attraction of the procession was the 100 feet long national flag longest in the city of Calcutta. More than a hundred people from Tollygunge area spontaneously participated in this tri-colour journey. In this long march, everyone by maintaining social distancing has pledged to make the new India self-reliant in all courses. Meanwhile, all the participants in the procession bowed their heads in front of M.R. Bangur Hospital and greeted the Corona fighters with applause. The tricolor procession ended in front of the Anwar Shah junction, where N Mohan Rao told, “We all must be committed today to make India self-reliant. Building a new India is possible only when we can make the whole country self-reliant.” Thereafter, Saikat Bakshi in his oration said that, “The time has come for us to unite, regardless of caste and creed. The biggest reason why India has been able to respond ferociously towards China today is because of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s nationwide acceptance”. Sheikh Tariq, a leader of the BJP’s minority community, said, “For the last 70 years, the Congress government has turned the minorities into mere vote bank, only the BJP has repeatedly shown secularism and its true essence”. And he called on the minority community in West Bengal to come forward with the BJP. After that, Biswajit Debnath, a senior leader of South Kolkata BJP told, “The sole resolve of the 74th Independence Day should be to restore the Akhand Bharat and the true Indian history”, he also added that “Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and China-occupied India are an integral part of our India”. He also congratulated Union Home Minister Amit Shah for abrogating Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. Soma Ghosh said in his concluding remarks at the valedictory of the program,” Every BJP karyakartas will remain by the side of the people in this difficult time of Corona pandemic.”She then thanked the Narendra Modi-led central government for surpassing 70 percent recovery rate of Corona Cases in India.
